Pahoa 59, Kamehameha-Hawaii 57: Nick Fisher scored 21 points, and Randin Napeahi added 13 as the host Daggers held on to surprise the Warriors
It’s the third time this season that Fisher has scored at least 20 points. He’s averaging 19.4 per game for the Daggers (2-3), who snapped a three-game losing streak to move into first place atop the BIIF Division II East Hawaii standings.
Senior guard Shaun Kagawa scored 21 points for the Warriors (3-2), who fell behind 31-23 at halftime before mounting a charge in the fourth quarter.
Junior Micah Carter and senior Ilikai Calip added 10 points apiece, but defending champion Kamehameha finds itself in last place among four East Hawaii Division I teams.
The Warriors won the junior varsity contest 37-36.
